Are You a Certified Recruiter? Why Not?

Well, in the title it is simply answers for my marketing plan for the year. Are you certified? Why not?

Simple: When building your  recruiting business you will also have the opportunity to invest in all kinds of marketing. Certification is a marketing opportunity. You have invested in your education and  you have taken the time to know the law. I am marketing to fortune 500 companies to use recruiters that are certified. Can you compete with me? There are a lot of options today. Everything is marketing in a competitive market. You can choose to stay informed and educated or "enter the high-risk area." HR representatives of major corporations want people who are educated and informed. I invest. I educate myself. I am prepared. I have been in this business for eleven years and counting. There are people like me that will contact your client and ask if their recruiters are certified or if they are using “high risk” alternatives?

Thanks.

I don't think it makes much of a difference.

Have been in the business 20 years and counting and was TSC and CPC certified at times BUT....never had one client or manager ask if certified! Certifications have lapsed and willput my recruiting/sourcing skills up against anybody out there. In my mind and the minds of many others not utilizing my "uncertified" skills is high risk. I know many who are certified and cannot recruit there way out of a paper bag and know less of the laws than I do. Who is high risk??
