The skills you gain on a business and management studies degree will allow you to start contributing to your employer's organisation quickly and effectively. Financial analysts
Financial analysts conduct qualitative analyses concerning a company’s finances and investments. This is done by composing charts, graphs and spreadsheets; forecasting business, industry and economic conditions through analysis of financial information; determining the prices at which a company should offer its product to the public market; and recommending and preparing investment plans through use of financial analysis.

Sales support
Sales support professionals typically undertake the administrative and office management side of the sales process. This includes fielding phone calls, setting appointments or managing a customer database, among other duties.

Bookkeeping, accounting and auditing clerks
Workers in these realms focus on monitoring and maintaining a company’s financial records. Duties typically include coding documents according to procedure, recording and summarizing numerical data on behalf of the company and reconciling any financial discrepancies found all while complying to federal, state and company policies.

Human Resources
Human resources managers oversee the recruitment, training, and compensation of a company's employees. A business is only as good as the people it employs, so human resources managers strive to ensure a high-quality workforce. This profession attracts people who enjoy the interpersonal aspects of business. Not surprisingly, many human resources professionals have a background or strong interest in psychology, sociology, counseling, or organizational behavior.

Market Research Analyst
A market research analyst assists companies in determining their potential in an industry through gathering and analyzing data of competitors such as pricing, distribution, demographics, sales and needs to potential markets and this career tests strategies to improve a companies market reach.

Economist
An economist researches and analyzes economic issues and advises governments, businesses, and individuals on economic topics.

Loan Officer
Loan officers meet with applicants who wish to borrow and evaluate, recommend, or approve the applications for businesses and people. It also involves unsecured business loans or any type of loans.
