Urgent Requirement for PHP/MYSQL Developer

Title: Sr. PHP/MySQL Developer

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Duration: 6 months contract to hire



Job Responsibilities:

Designing, developing and maintaining multiple applications in a team environment
Plan and develop multiple robust and extensible websites, implementing a strong code base across the websites, e.g. exercising code reuse methodology through object-oriented design and/or a template-driven approach
3+ years experience with the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP)
Proficiency in HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SQL
Experience with Smarty templates
Creative problem-solving skills and an ability to apply business logic to development requirements
Strong knowledge of database and information architecture, with web application integration
Cross-browser/platform experience advantageous
Needs to be detail-oriented, resourceful, and work well under pressure
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential
Desirable Skills:

In depth gaming knowledge
Experience with existing PHP web application frameworks a plus (e.g. Rails, CakePHP, symfony, Drupal)
Experience with other web technologies such as XSL, XSLT
Configuration and administration experience with source control technologies (e.g. SVN)
Any exposure to eCommerce application development
Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems with 2-4 years relevant experience.

You might want to join Recruiters willing to do Splits group and blast it out to the members in that group. I think there is a California group in there too that may help... just a thought
