This is almost as scary as speaking in public. When you need to change jobs, whether it’s your idea or your company’s, two major fears start. The fear of the unknown and the fear of failure. To help overcome these and problems associated with a job search go to someone who can assist you in the search. Find someone who specializes in your job category and someone who you feel you can trust. How do you know if you can trust a staffing specialist or recruiter? Ask how long they have been in the business. If they have been in the business less then three years, keep looking. If they want you to pay any part the hiring fee, keep looking. If they won’t answer questions about the company they represent, keep looking. If they want you to agree to an interview but won’t tell you the name of the company, keep looking.

Let me know if I can help you with any other job search questions.
