The parent company is a 10+ billion dollar company that is in multiple industries. The subsidiary that this person would be recruiting for is in the automotive and packaging industry. This subsidiary has approximately 5,000 employees in 32 locations worldwide. The parent company employees over 40,000 people. The team of people that the recruiter would be working with are AWESOME!! I have had a number of people work with them and everyone of them has been happy they took the position.
David, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help! I am really trying to help out a great client who is in a bind! It would be great to be able to help solve this problem for them.

My client is in the US and has a facility in Bonn where they have a number of openings. They are looking for someone to assist full-time as a permanent employee. The job description is as follows:

Recruiter - Talent Acquisition Consultant – Bonn, Germany
Function: Human Resources

Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for providing recruiting services to the business units from the point of a requisition approval until the candidate has accepted employment. This role would be in charge of understanding the requirements of the position, finding qualified candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews and working with the candidate through acceptance of the position.

Recruiter - Talent Acquisition Specialist
• Educate Hiring Manager and Human Resources on the process, roles and responsibilities including theirs and setting expectations
• Find and screen internal and external candidates for the down-select of 3 final candidates to be presented to Hiring Manager and Human Resources.
• Select and coordinate of external candidate sources including advertising, internet posting, local government offices, and alternative sources
• Maintain internal and external job postings and ensure they are accurate.
• Interview qualified external candidates and all internal candidates
• Present candidates to Hiring Manager and business unit Human Resources Manager.
• Schedule interviews with the business unit and candidates and ensure that everyone is informed on the details.
• Disposition candidates in recruitment management system with accurate information to ensure compliance with regulatory reports.
• Provide requested reports and updates to the team and business units.

Education:
•BS/BA degree or equivalent international degree

Position Requirements:
• 3 years or more of experience with high volume recruiting of a variety of professional and managerial level positions across multiple disciplines and locations
• Hands on experience with Recruitment Management System. The ability to demonstrate searches for candidates, concept searches, disposition candidates and optimize technology.
• Experience in finding candidates from unique sources such as internet, networking and other means and effectively place candidates.
• Metrics mindset – proven and able to demonstrate track record of improvements and exceeding goals year over year.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation and references of performance from customers.
• Able to manage multiple searches, at various levels and stages; Time management and the ability to prioritize are essential skill sets
• Must possess a can do attitude with a high energy level, creative thought process and solid business skills would thrive in this fast paced, ever changing environment

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for multiple business units is highly desirable
- An advanced degree and third-party recruiting experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of and experience utilizing an HRIS or Recruitmax/Vurv is also highly desirable
- Prior experience in a shared service center and/or on a virtual team
- Recent AIRS certification or training is highly desired
