That's an interesting question. I think the answer is that both have fun parts and not so fun parts. In any job we sometimes wish we weren't at work. When I was in game development there would be days that I would be sitting in a creative meeting, wishing I was at the beach. The irony was apparent to me even then that I was in a job that so many people dreamed of doing and still found certain days boring.

Recruiting certainly feels more rewarding. But I don't think I would be as interested in recruitng if the industry weren't so exciting.
