I'm not an independent recruiter. I recruit for the DoD. The type of recruitment I do is very different that was happens in the private sector. I do less sourcing and convincing folks to take the job. They already know they want to work as a Fed. I'm not saying it is any better, I'm just stating that it's very different.
I'm also starting my own gig as a Career Coach/Consultant. For the time being, I offer employability services such as KSA development for Fed Service careers, resume & cover letter editing and writing, etc... Eventually, I will offer career/ life training sessions for corporations and on an independent level. If you know anyone who may benefit from my services, please send them my way.
