The Bank of Scotland Report on Jobs has revealed deterioration of labour market conditions in June.

Total Back Office Solutions can give you recruitment agency formation advice

A strong rise in the number of people looking for employment led to a slight deterioration of Scotland's labour market conditions in June, those looking for recruitment agency formation advice may be interested to note.

Figures from the Bank of Scotland Report on Jobs revealed that labour market conditions north of the border remain tough as previously inactive workers seek employment.

Those looking to set up a recruitment agency may also want to take note of the fact that the Bank of Scotland Labour Market Barometer slipped below the 50.0 no-change threshold for the first time in seven months.

Despite a rise in the number of candidates seeking long- and short-term employment, job creation and demand for staff continued to increase during the month, albeit, at moderated rates.

Although higher vacancy numbers were recorded in seven out of the eight monitored permanent employment segments, the strongest rise was seen in the hotel and catering sector.

It was recently revealed that job hunters were distracted by the recent South Africa World Cup.
