A shortage of skilled candidates is set to hit London in the fourth quarter of 2010, new research shows.

Total Back Office Solutions can give you recruitment agency formation advice

People looking to set up a recruitment agency may be interested to hear that there will be more vacancies than candidates in London in the fourth quarter of 2010, according to new research.

There are currently ten skilled financial and professional services candidates for every nine vacancies in the English capital, but this will change to ten people for every 12 vacancies, Ambition said.

Individuals searching for recruitment agency formation advice may want to know that this is a marked difference from the first quarter of 2009 when there were ten skilled candidates for every three vacancies.

"Businesses now demand more full and varied skill sets from candidates in order to maximise their value to the business," commented Tim Gilbert, UK managing director of Ambition.

"Any candidate that fits the bill is being snapped up and well rewarded in order to retain them. This has left a very shallow talent pool."

Recruiters can outsource back office solutions when they start out their business in order to give themselves the strongest beginning possible.
