Total Back Office Solutions can handle your recruitment agency timesheet management

Research has shown that English workers are frequently putting in extra time once they have left the office - information useful to those looking after timesheet management.

In a survey conducted by Reed Specialist Recruitment, employees were found to spend an average of 42 minutes catching up on work they were too busy to do during the day.

Of the 3,000 workers interviewed, a quarter of employees were in the office by 7:30am and regularly did not leave until 6pm.

The survey showed that 48% of those interviewed would like to spend at least part of their week working from home; however, many acknowledged that also want to maintain the social aspects of office working.

Group managing director of Reed Specialist, Tom Lovell, commented that today's workers want more flexibility in their working life.

"Employers also really need to understand applicants' motivations so that they can achieve cultural as well as skills fit when recruiting the best people," said Mr Lovell.

Recently, the Guardian noted that BT has been something of a pioneer in this area, having over 65,000 flexible workers.
