Total Back Office Solutions can give you recruitment agency formation advice

Standard working hours are not likely to change any time soon, according to one expert, which may interest those intending to set up a recruitment agency.

This comment follows the release of research from Work Wise UK which suggests that working nine to five, Monday to Friday, is becoming less common and will soon be a thing of the past.

Steve Overell, associate director of the Work Foundation, states that this is "probably a step too far".

Commenting that technology can help to increase the flexibility of working hours, Mr Overell notes that there is a still "an awful long way to go".

Recent figures from Hays show that 95 per cent of employees think that flexible working options promote a good work-life balance.
