yep it finally happened , the UK government decided that if you are an employer and cant find a UK skilled citizen to work for a company and can prove that you cant , you are allowed to bring candidates in from the European Union & beyond , this is a major talking point , what do we think ?

I think this is a "reaction" to the current market situation where western countries who originated and promoted global open economy for years - going in the shell of protectionism. While, it may bring some quick relief but certainly it's not good for open economy which in turn will harm western economies in longer run. Imagine if every country starts shutting doors like these - we go back in the old era.

But yes, I agree that homeland workers should get first chance - but this is not the best way of doing it!!!
