At a national MBA Career Fair there were over 300 employers, each with a team of reps, participating with recruiting booths and even a cordoned-off area for interviewing.  Yet most of those recruiters, particularly the Fortune 1000 company reps who barely made that list, never think to recruit directly out of the candidate coffee break area (featured in this photo). 

Such resting areas, where candidates take their break and compare notes from their long day of meeting & greeting and interviewing at local, college or national job fairs, have been prime places for me to recruit with outstanding results.

Why is it that most recruiters would rather wait at their recruitment booths to engage with candidates?  Is it job fair etiquette?  I have a few confirmed reasons why they don't come to the coffe break area, among other places, to recruit and why they should.  I’d be interested in knowing your ideas?
