Recruiters and Hunters have a lot in common but sometimes their tactics can work against them when they confuse their role and/or approach for best results.

Examples of how it can work, or work against them are:

Hunter--Do not take a shotgun to a rabbit hunt--unless it's for a rabid gang of rabbits.

Recruiter--Do not not promote an ideal but unwilling candidate--unless you have a couple of years to woo that candidate over.

Hunter--Never use a duck call near a pride of hungry lions--unless you're rabid with foam on your lips to prove it.

Recruiter--Do not assume a client has your level of insight on your recommended candidate--unless they are brilliant too.
