Medestar Locum Tenens, a leading locum tenens agency representing physician and mid-level temporary job opportunities nationwide, was recently awarded, in conjunction with Federal Staffing Resources (FSR), a woman-owned healthcare staffing company based in Annapolis, Maryland, a Clinical Acquisition Support Services (CLASS) contract by the United States Air Force. The CLASS contract is a multiple-award “indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity” contract running over five years which allows Medestar and FSR to place quality medical providers at Air Force Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) across the country.

Medestar will now be able to offer its medical providers temporary assignments in United States government healthcare facilities across the country. This new contract will not only allow Medestar’s providers to travel the country while holding only one state medical license (government facilities recognize any state medical license at any location) but also gives the ability and opportunity for providers to give back to their country and the men and women who so bravely ensure our freedoms.
