Because I am networked widely with many excellent innovators, I have been getting requests lately from software engineers who value my input on new recruiting tools that they are designing. I have been writing on the subject (occasionally) for several years, so some of my ideas have attracted attention.
In specific, I wrote some of the first articles on Artificial Intelligence being applied to recruiting software, and now there is a virtual flood of products touting AI functionality. I haven't personally reviewed any of these projects, although I would be happy to volunteer as a beta-tester for anyone who has a serious interest in my thoughts.
In any case, I am very curious what other recruiters think of current recruiting software. How good is it? What directions should it go in? What are major 'pain points'? What could be improved?
If anyone knows of a network for beta-testing of new and improved recruiter software, please let me know. I have enjoyed working with Prophet Pro, recently, although I don't think its accuracy is all it could be.
My vision of the best recruiting software would be a package that can spider through everything (dark web included) and pick out qualified resumes (and people) and also provide accurate contact information. Simple in concept, but a daunting task.
