"The times they are a changin"

I love this song from Bob Dylan - from what I read, "many felt that it captured the spirit of social and political upheaveal that characterized the 1960s." In that era, there was a war involved just like we have now and our nation was divided on many issues....

This song popped in my head just recently after Obama & McCain’s announcement of their respective running mates. Both candidates spoke of the changes that are needed for our country. I was thinking about this while sipping on a glass of red wine. I'm waiting for my girlfriend, Susan, to have lunch with me.

In recruiting, the times are changing in many ways. We have new tools, new ways to recruit, and new attitudes towards recruiting. It's up to us to figure out which combinations of these changes would make us successful or just be ordinary.

Why stay with things that are not working?
Why stay with things that are costing you opportunities to be successful?
Why hang out with people who sap your energies instead of filling you up with positive motivation/reason to succeed?

I say that it's best when we can find people who shares your goals, ideas and outlook to find the solutions of what's the best combinations for you.
Don't let the changes derail your success.

I love Bob Dylan music as well. among so many others.. of course.. there is my passion for Classical piano music.. but that's a completely different topic of course ;)
