Dear Taxpayer and Concerned Citizen,

You are receiving this letter as you are the account holder of funds within an F.D.I.C. backed financial institution.

Over the weekend Congress and I worked together to solve what appeared to be the greatest threat to our economy in decades. This crisis would most assuredly have brought our nation to its knees in a matter of days – if not hours. We had to act quickly in order to insure our own freedoms and stability of the world economy.

For each dollar you have in your account up to the maximum allowable amount ($100,000 per family) you will be issued .68 Amero. The Amero will be the new standard of exchange allowing for a more stable currency and flexibility. We are joined in this monetary transition by our partners Canada and Mexico. This North American Currency Union is modeled on the common European Union currency (the euro), and is the natural extension of the North American Free Trade Agreement and the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America. While we have been printing the Amero in all denominations for the past 6 weeks we ask that you bear with us while this effort continues. We encourage each citizen of this great country to only request the actual amount of “cash” from their financial institution as is absolutely necessary to meet the requirements of transactions which can not be handled with either credit card or some other means of electronic funds transfer.
