Women@Work's Niche Job Board: Candidates You Will Not Find with "Mass Market" Resources

In a down economy employers and recruiters should know about the Women@Work talent pool and our niche Job Board. Employers who are focused on diversity initiatives will be especially interested in this Job Board that draws from an ever growing network of 5,000 professional women nationwide--with a concentration in the NY and Boston metro areas.

Our Job Board is about quality not quantity--95% of the women in our network have college degrees and 60% have MBAs, JDs or other advanced degrees. 60% have more than 10 years of experience. These are women who are accustomed to finding new opportunities through personal connections: they typically do not search for positions through internet job boards, newspaper ads or other "mass market" venues. Our network provides the "personal connection" they seek.

One client, who is the CEO of a Fortune 100 subsidiary, told us that he was amazed by the quality of our candidates: he said that he had not seen anything like it in the one year that he had a top 10 executive search firm on retainer. We also just held a "private label" recruiting day for Gartner--and they told us that they intend to interview all 50 of the stellar sales candidates we gathered for their information session.

Most importantly, we continually cultivate and develop ongoing relationships with a network of smart women helping other smart women. All new job postings are posted on our Job Board and announced each day in emails sent to all 5,000 women in our network. Our subscribers forward these emails on to other women in their personal and professional networks, giving advertisers vast exposure among an elite candidate group. Already we are working with a prestigious group of clients--such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, New Balance, Deloitte, Merrill Lynch, Conde Nast, Comcast, Goldman Sachs --who use our Job Board to find great talent and to "advertise" the fact that they are committed to hiring and retaining women.

The Women@Work mission is to Keep Women at Work Through All of Life's Ages and Stages. It's important to note that not all of the mid to senior level women in our network are looking for high-powered jobs at this time. It is not uncommon for accomplished women to downsize their careers for a period of time while they continue to raise children--many come to us for higher level administrative or middle management positions that do not require 60 to 80 hour work weeks and extensive travel. Smart employers are the lucky recipients of top-notch talent at less than executive level prices.

Please let us know how we can help you--this month we have a 30% discount on our advertising rates.
