How to get a baby off a bottle! She's fifteen months and the doctor's telling me she wants her OFF the bottle. How have you done this? I'm not a young mother anymore and I forget this stuff...

By the way - what does this have to do with employment? Nothing but in the vein of keeping some delivery drivers working - if anyone wants the clothes she's grown out of - send me an email! maureen at techtrak.com I'll send you a box full (think the largest jumbo-pack of diapers you can buy at Costco). I expect you to reimburse me for the postage and if anyone has any18 mos to 2Ts they want to get rid of send them to me and I'll reimburse you!

Maureen, if you only feed the baby water in the bottle -- use a sippy for everything else -- she'll soon graduate.

The advantage of this is that you can avoid tooth rot and inadvertently making baby fat.

It also means you can continue to give the baby the bottle for as long as she wants to use it and tell the doctor to go fly a kite. My daughter used her bottle until she was three years old and only stopped because she didn't want to be a baby any more.

Doctors don't know everything. Mothers do.
Well now, that didn't take an hour, did it?
Makes sense -thanks!
