Our client is a large, privately owned, industrial conglomerate in Eastern Europe with a significant market position in power

generation and distribution. They are currently looking to add a new independent Director to their Supervisory Board.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and participate in board meetings on a regular basis (approx. 15 days a year).
• Passing personal know-how to the company executives and directors.
• Building and maintaining working relationships with members of executive team.
• Providing constructive feedback to members of executive team and directors.
• Demonstrating productive business behavior.
• Building on and preserving what the predecessors had done.
• The candidate can be based anywhere in Europe, no relocation is necessary.

Experience Required:

• Possessing world-class expertise in power generation industry, specifically in power generation technologies, equipment

and vendors.
• Knowledge of investment process, vendor financing and large contracts' management is required.
• Experience in seeing how executive actions and non-actions create/destroy value in a company.
