How important is a well prepared candidate for your company? Can more preparation be offered...I think so.

From my years in HR sitting on the other side of the interview table, I have received many resumes and sat in on 100's of candidate interviews. The candidates are sent from 100's of staffing companies I have worked with in the past. from my experience, regardless if its a junior or executive candidate, they all need help with preparation either on paper or in an interview. I can't tell you how many bad candidates I have seen who just could not sell themselves and fell short.

With this in mind, I went out with a partner to create a job preparation software specifically with the staffing company in mind called EmployPrep.. our goal was simple, provide a value added software that staffing companies can provide for their candidates that can bring value and imporove the interview to hire ratio. Let's face it, staffing companies spend a lot of time looking for candidates and building relationships with employers that sometimes the preparation process is forgotten or there is just not enough time to be thorough.

So my question is: How important is a well prepared candidate for you? Do you provide preparation from a human resources perspective? Does your company provide information on structuring answers etc.? How often do you update your preparation material? do you provide job preparation to all your candidates?

If your candidates are important to you and you want to provide them learning material rather then just promotional swag, I welcome you to visit our software soloution called EmployPrep. I would be more then happy to provide you with additional information and a demo to show you how it all works, which staffing companies are using our software and how we plan on helping staffing companies in this tough employment market.
