My premise: Even If You Aren't Now Hiring Illegal Immigrants, Immigration Is Affecting You!

In February, America will become a nation of 303,470,247 people, the world's third most populous country after China and India, growing faster than any other industrialized nation. The biggest driver of growth is immigration – legal and illegal. About 53% of the 104 million people added since 1967 are recent immigrants or their descendants. We are adding an international migrant every 28 seconds!

Here are the facts:
> U.S. population, February 2008: 303,470,247.
> One birth: every 8 seconds
> One death: every 11 seconds
> One international migrant (net): every 28 seconds
> Net gain of one person: every 13 seconds

Immigration is affecting U.S.A. businesses, educational institutions, economy, social services, health care systems, criminal justice system, and talent acquisition systems. But the needs for talent are growing at a rate greater than 1 FTE per second.
