I love this question and fear it a little at the same time.

I normally map out from my goals with the assumption that I am going to hit it.

I want to be a General in the War for Talent. This was will never die, and long live the war mongers!

I am an in-house Recruiter, I see in my future being involved in the growing importance of this function within businesses, and seeing it emerge from the shadows of HR.

I expect to see a continued evolution in our space, with the global barriers decreasing and talented individuals being able to operate effectively in different continents. Think Bill Boorman for an example of someone building a global brand.

Social media will become more mainstream, and some smart person will think of something else that everyone will need to get involved in.... yes I'm thinking, if only I had technical know how... maybe I'll suggest people get back on the phones? :) (ssshhh please don't tell anyone)

I see my roles (ie now and in the future), continuing down the path of education of businesses in the way of the Recruiter and the Recruiting market, trying to break down traditional biases and assumptions.

That said, my future will mirror my past. The success or not, will still be measured on the quality and quantity of people I (or my team) can bring into a business in a timely manner.
