An increasing number of graduates are seeking overseas job opportunities.

Those looking into how to set up a recruitment company with the view to placing candidates in overseas jobs could benefit from a growing trend among graduates to seek opportunities outside the UK.

An increasing number of university leavers are jetting off to countries like China and India in order to gain more skills which enhance their CVs, according to Sky News.

With youth unemployment skyrocketing and graduates facing the toughest jobs market in 15 years, an overseas post appears to be the only way for some candidates to boost their chances of later employment in the UK.

Hannah Cobbett, who has already worked in China and is fluent in Mandarin, believes the experience an overseas opportunity offers is invaluable.

She told the news provider: "When people are going though thousands of CVs and they see someone can speak fluent Chinese and has survived in another foreign culture and has learnt to do that on their own, it sets them apart."

Recruiters who focus on niche markets have a greater chance of succeeding, an industry insider recently stated while contributing to a discussion on LinkedIn.
