The coalition government's launch of the Your Freedom website, which invites members of the public to nominate laws that they would like to see abolished, could benefit those looking for recruitment agency formation advice.

People starting a recruitment company will be glad to hear that the site will also ask which regulations should be removed to make running a business easier, which has been welcomed by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).

Research by the organisation shows that one third (33 per cent) of small business owners identified regulation as the biggest barrier to growth in 2009, and reviewing them should be hailed by operators.

According to FSB chairman Mike Cherry, small businesses, which number 4.8 million in the UK, "want to grow, but are stifled by red tape and excessive legislation".

"Giving the public and business owners the chance to shape the regulation and legislation which directly affects them is a welcome move by the government," he said.
