Good afternoon everyone!
I'm writing to get some feedback on how you've recruited for 3rd shift worker in the past. I've got a client who is needing 3rd shift candidates however, Career Builder and other job searching boards do not give an option to just seek out those just interested in 3rd shift.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

We do it the same as any position - we call and ask them. I make sure if we are posting the job that it specifies 3rd shift, frequent travel, etc. - whatever is required. And as you probably know, even if people specify things on those boards - they don't always mean it when you talk to them!
Shift can be a deal breaker for many, so make it known up front and quickly! Put it in the job title (Mechanical Technician - 3rd shift; something like that). There are plenty of people who prefer something other than first shift.
