What are some of the most effective things you've seen companies do in trying to impress candidates? Here's the main question:

All things being equal (e..g, role, comp, company, etc.), what are some innovative perks and processes that you've seen that are really impressive for hard to find candidates?

Not certain if this 'qualifies' as a perk, but I always ensure that candidates leave with company paraphenalia - coffee mugs, baseball caps, company anniversary book, etc. Additionally, I always have candidates who are relocating meet me for dinner, spend half a day with a realtor. This experience gives candidates an opportunity to see the area and understand the lifestyle that is available working in the midwest.
