when you are trying to find finance people is it best to ask to go to the director to finance and roll down from there?

Maureen Sharib
I go to the Exec Asst to the CFO and roll down from THERE. She usually tells me stuff

Maureen Sharib
what kind of finance people?

Ryan Haire
Staff Accountants

Since we're talking about it how would you source a financial analyst?

Maureen Sharib
financial analysts also are going to fall under the CFO

Maureen Sharib
I would find some names in that particular dept - call in and talk to them OR talk to their administrative assistant and use the names I found in an attempt to sound like “friendly fire”.

Maureen Sharib
Someone asked last week about a step-by-step sourcing program

Ryan Haire
I like the idea of talking about a step by step sourcing plan too- it would be good to know other people approach a search

Melanie L
But, I want to learn more. I am great at cold calling, no fear. if i can past the receptionist, assitants, etc...i am in

Susan Kang Nam
I'm interested in learning more about Phone Sourcing.. step by step ..

Gladys Vivar
Maureen, what do you say to the CFO secretary? Gladys

Maureen Sharib
I tell her my name, I tell her the name of the receptionist who transferred me, I repeat HER name back at her (all this creates a low level sense of familiarity - that friendly fire I referred to above) and then I ask her for the information I seek. How do you get past the gatekeeper, Melanie?
