The New NewsFeed

I am really starting to like the NewsFeed I set up here. Yes there is some contributor self promo but we can see that this is an unfixable problem as communities get bigger.

Essentially, you can join the the room I set up there and then add the submit button to your browser. When you see something somewhere on the net you think is recruiting related and will be of interest, you just add it. Then, we can all see it.

I know not everyone writes here on RecruitingBlogs.com and most people don't comment and that is the way these things are but maybe this is a way for some people to interact with RecruitingBlogs.com in a different way. It's an important way as well because the more related information, the better.

Great idea Jason ~~ I haven't had a chance to write my own blog post just yet.. only few comments here and there.. so this will help me as I continue to contribute to RBC in some form. I will look into it further and see what I can add to the feed that is recruiting related. I have read others from the recruitingblogs friendfeed and it's been helpful and some were quite interesting...

There are some people who don't love to write but are great contributors, this is an easy way to allow them to contribute frequently while still making sure other great sites get the recognition they deserve. Beyond that, some of us have "seasons" where we do a lot of writing, commenting, interaction but then hit a busy patch and can't participate the way we'd like.
