What is the point of writing a blog for your readers who may or may not share your opinion in part or whole if your viewers can't see feedback from your readers - Why would you even bother replying publicly to a comment that you have made invisible to your readers.   That shows one side of a perspective - Yours!

If you are too afraid of getting intelligent feedback from your Blog Post... I have a simple solution ...

Don't write a Blog!

Point well made Paul. It has been my observation that the young hot shot twits have a very hard time with folks commenting that they are A. full of it. B. Don't have a clue what they are talking about. C. Write like they spent more time looking up words in the dictionary to throw together in some conglomeration of "big people words" than they do thinking about what they write or even having an original thought.

Or perhaps that is the way the weak sisters protect their online identity. Just take down anything and everything that disagrees with your own egomanical outlook.

Widdle Timmypoo not want to weally blog, him only want see himselfy in print.

It is also a trait of the very damaged personality to filter or remove comments then respond.
Enjoy

A writer died and was given the option of going to heaven or hell.

She decided to check out each place first. As the writer descended into the fiery pits, she saw row upon row of writers chained to their desks in a steaming sweatshop. As they worked, they were repeatedly whipped with thorny lashes.

"Oh my," said the writer. "Let me see heaven now."

A few moments later, as she ascended into heaven, she saw rows of writers, chained to their desks in a steaming sweatshop. As they worked, they, too, were whipped with thorny lashes.

"Wait a minute," said the writer. "This is just as bad as hell!"

"Oh no, it's not," replied an unseen voice. "Here, your work gets published."
One thing about folks who delete comments then say they do it sure makes everybody curious.

It's also the action of a defensive little punk who has a cognative defect.
I am not sure why he deleted your comments Sandra ... He is really missing the point on open dialog Again why do people only want to hear their side of the perspective it pisses me off to no end ... You can't expect to have every one agree with what you have to say...

Also your comments was making the blog so much more fun I was really enjoying the banter .... Lets summarize it:

If you write a blog and want folks to contribute a comment - Lets see what your readers are asking or probing regardless of whether or not they agree with you ....

So what if it gets heated .. Its like Talk radio ... That's another reason why people tune in ...

If you are gonna respond to one of your readers comments MAKE IT VISIBLE so we can see the OTHER PERSPECTIVE and NOT JUST YOURS !!!

There I got it off my chest ...
To which blog are you referring?
That joy of expertise headlined Social Recruiting: Replacement for Cold Calling.

Read my discussion headlined Troll Headlines. Pisses me off too Paul. I think it's punky :)
