I am allergic to turkey so we have a small ham slice for me and turkey for our family. My favorite Thanksgiving dessert is Pumpkin pie. It just doesn't seem like Thanksgiving without it! Cranberries and mashed potatoes with gravy are my favorite side dishes.
We're going all out, but 100% gluten-free! Turkey, stuffing, corn bread, cranberry sauce, brussel sprouts with garlic & frizzled shallots, roasted root vegetables, sweet potatoes, and whatever else has struck someone's fancy this past week that they decide to add in... Dessert, again, all gluten-free this year, will primarily be a NY Style Cheescake, but in the past often consisted of apple pie and pecan pie. The best part, other than the family being together, is that it's ALL homemade. Even the cranberry sauce! I love Thanksgiving. Whether you "celebrate" or not, I wish you a Happy and a Healthy! “Thanksgiving Day is a jewel, to set in the hearts of honest men; but be careful that you do not take the day, and leave out the gratitude.” ~E.P. Powell~ Here's my post about what I'm grateful for: http://hireeffect.blogspot.com/2010/11/attitude-gratitude-athanksgi...
Just took my turkey out and the 21 lbs looks and smells great...
I'm all about the mashed potatoes!!! MMMmmmm....I typically love sweet potatoes too, since we rarely have them any other time of year.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving day.
