Personally I would prefer to do one of two things:

1. Conduct my own search beginning with my existing talent network, then continue by using my own sourcing mechanisms.
2. Post the job on niche sites, thus increasing the likelihood of qualified candidates applying.

I don't like doing job postings in the first place, but if I do post, I prefer it to be on a niche site to attract the right type of talent. I've found that posting on general sites generates an awful lot of unqualified applicants and in turn wastes a lot of my time reading through said unqualified resumes.
