Boolean Strings for resume search on Google suggested by Contest Participants

The contest at http://booleanstrings.wordpress.com/boolean-contest/ asked all participants to fill out a Quiz. Most of the questions were multiple choice; here's one that was not. We got some pretty interesting responses to it!

"Please provide a string that will result in the maximum number of CV/Resumes amongst the first 100 results on Google when appended to a job title that the judges will pick at random from the top 100 job postings in Indeed.com."

I'd like to share some answers with you; see what you think of these. Comments are very welcome and will hopefully help us learn more!

"(network.engineer OR (network*=engineer AND cisco))"

You can also try:
"(network.engineer OR (network.=engineer AND cisco))"

with "." replacing "*". The aggregate results are slightly different between the two, and the "*" and "." aren't treated identically depending on the way/context used in query
I'm curious. Were these tested and if so what were the results? Given the quirkiness of google searching (for example the position of some terms within a string may affect results), I'd really like to know how they panned out. Some of them seem pretty good.
Ken,

No, they were not tested. These strings would have been tested in case of a tie. But we had a clear top winner, Andrea Mitchell, so we didn't get there.

Looking at these strings I can say that some of them look very good but some show that their authors could use further learning of Google syntax and abilities.

Which string(s) look good to you?

I don't know yet. I copied them into my syntax library spreadsheet and will start running some of them to see what works. At this point "*" wins for brevitity and breadth.
