New to Mfg industry

Hello all - I have been in recruiting/executive search for 15 years. Recently started doing work in the mfg industry. Any recommendations/information on where/how to learn more about the industry is welcomed!

Hey Vicki, welcome to the group. Best thing to do is try to join every Mfg Assoc, subscribe to trade journals, Industryweek, etc.. I buy Manufacturers Registers from Manufacturers' News Inc. - database of manufacturing companies with key contacts. These things are pricey and big but worth it for me.

Let me know if we can work together on anything or if you need any advice.
