It's human nature (yet mostly illogical) to fear what we don't understand. I've also had great results facilitating placements of those that didn't appear on the surface to match whatever the typical standards may have been. @Sandra - unfortunately, there are indeed many managers that prefer managing followers that just do as they are told, no questions asked, and no suggestions offered. Rigid structure is absolutely essential in certain contexts and is also a perfect arrangement when predictability of established procedures, policies and tasks is required. That's what helps prevent medical staff from operating on the wrong limb or body part. Or, all cars from accelerating simultaneously from a 4-way stop intersection. I'm sure we're all on board with those type of examples. Then there are cases where structure should only exist to prevent chaos, but it goes WAY beyond. Topic: What is GoogleSearch's Methodology (SEO) for Personal Identity Searches?: ttle surprised to see it, in print (Wikipedia), but it really was there, and undeniable. So, my new shared vocabulary word of the day is "Spamdexing". Spamdexing is what Google does to increase profits by driving traffic to competitor sites of whomever the person being searched for data happens to be. This forces anyone who uses Google to accept glaringly stupid and inconceivably wrong information (by 'fiat' of Evil Empire Google) and refuses to allow rebuttal, removal, reply, etc. This is only one reason why the European Union is now fining Google $6.6 Billion for anti-trust violations. In my own opinion, the failure of Attorney General Eric Holder to prosecute Google for said offenses in the United States is ample testimony to his severe incompetence, but that's just my opinion. So, what is "Spamdexing"? It involves a number of methods, such as repeating unrelated phrases, to manipulate the relevance or prominence of resources indexed in a manner inconsistent with the purpose of the indexing system.[2][3] It could be considered to be a part of search engine optimization, though there are many search engine optimization methods that improve the quality and appearance of the content of web sites and serve content useful to many users.[4] Search engines use a variety of algorithms to determine relevancy ranking. Some of these include determining whether the search term appears in the body text or URL of a web page. Many search engines check for instances of spamdexing and will remove suspect pages from their indexes. Also, people working for a search-engine organization can quickly block the results-listing from entire websites that use spamdexing, perhaps alerted by user complaints of false matches. The rise of spamdexing in the mid-1990s made the leading search engines of the time less useful.
