The overall goal of the position is to meet the needs of customers and to increase their productivity through technical service, new product development, etc. In addition to providing technical application support, this position will work closely within a Marketing Team and commercial support will be required (such as VOC information collection, competitive research, content for technical & commercial tools).The Customer Solutions Engineer must effectively work within market segment teams which will include individuals from marketing, design engineer, sales and application engineer.
The Customer Solutions Engineer will support key customer accounts to increase customer productivity through technical and commercial support. Being able to place an objective, quantitative value on our solutions relative to competitive products requires knowing how our customers currently value ours and alternative solutions, and requires a deep understanding of customer productivity needs – technically and commercially. Credibility in being able to resolve customer issues is required in order to effectively perform the job function.
This is a customer facing position and will have goals and objectives to drive and sustain strategic growth.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in technical field and have at least five years' experience in an industrial technical / manufacturing environment. Excellent interpersonal and customer satisfaction skills are a must for this position.
The Customer Solution Engineer is exposed to plant environments & must have a valid driver’s license.
