Thanks Michelle,
I gather you have just started on corp side. I have worked both and each has it's good and bad side. politics vs candidate and management control are the two that stick out most in my mind from a corp side. It's easier to make a hire happen when your in the door than outside of it.
This has been a bigger adjustment for me than I thought. A lot more red tape on the corporate side. It seems to me that 3rd party is a more pure recrutiing process. There are pros and cons to both. All in all I am very happy to have made the transition. It has given me the opportunity to learn so much more. Thank you for your offer to assist. I will certainly keep you in mind.
I am interested to know how your transitiion from 3rd party to corporate recruting is going? I would be interested to learn how your challenges changed as a corporate recruiter and if you have a different view after making the transition? If I can ever assit please let me know and thanks for connecting!
