Using Twitter as a Recruiting Tool

In speaking with recruiters on a daily basis, I’m often asked about Twitter. What is it? How does it work? How can it help me as a recruiter? etc. In my opinion Twitter is a fantastic recruiting tool and also a great tool for people who are looking for a job.

We Don't Use Job Boards, We Use Monster!

It never ceases to amaze me when a Director of Recruiting makes a statement like, "We don't use job boards, we use Monster". This was the answer given to a collegue of mine as they were discussing online recruiting strategies. It's clear to me that there is still a great divide between tech savvy recruiters and HR people and those that are still living in the days of classified ads
