Executive Job Market Intelligence Report 2008

As some members of RecruitingBlogs.com are aware, for the past 16 years ExecuNet has run a survey focused on the executive marketplace. It is called The Executive Job Market Intelligence Report.

It is a task that each time we do it we keep asking ourselves if we have the energy to do it again. It not only takes a great deal of time to put it together, but also an enormous amount of time in analyzing the data, and this year was certainly no exception as we had over 6,000 responses - the largest response ever! For those who may not be familiar with it, the survey goes out to senior-level executives as well as recruiters and hiring managers.

Firms that recruit at senior levels find the report especially useful, as the average compensation of respondents this year was $221,000; and it reveals some great insights, such as where the demand for executive talent is the greatest – by industry, function, location; what motivates executives to accept new positions; and expected compensation increases when changing jobs.

The full report is available to ExecuNet members, and an executive summary is available at no cost for downloading from our website at http://www.execunet.com/TalentMarketReport or you can click here to download the summary now.
