I must say to me this quote sums up my experiences in my sourcing journey through my recruiting career. As each recruiting search/project was completed, a new and more challenging recruitment effort is put in front of you. When I first started in recruitment, finding source for searches was a series of cold calls and networking with other recruiters for phone directories of large companies. If a recruiter could not grasp that fact that it was all a numbers game, burn out was right around the corner. Then along came the Internet and the rise of the job boards.
