Jason: Did you see that video that anonymous guy made?

Dave: I saw it already.

Jason: I loved the effort.

Dave: You know what pisses me off?

Jason : What.

Dave : That he had the time to make a three minute video but did not have time to say whether or not he was at the ERE Expo.

Jason: Can I put that on my blog? That was very funny.

Dave: Yes.

Jason : Thanks.

Dave, don't get mad as there are bigger issues to solve than to worry about who I am

I'm not mad, and I am not trying to find out who you are.

You made a comment about the sessions at the ERE Expo, and I am trying to determine how seriously to take your very publicly delivered feedback.

So I will ask again - did you attend any of the sessions at last month's ERE Expo?

David - Well, if I say yes, then it whittles down who I could possibly be (still a large group I know). If I say yes, then I would also be lying. Have I been to previous Expo's, Yes. Was my post about MY Opinion on the most recent Expo, No. The original post was opinion and comments from people speaking to me. I was looking for general thoughts and soliciting input from the broader audience since I had people comment to me on their recent experience.
The way I view this, is if I a handful of people come up to me and say they do not like Pepsi and I blog about it does it mean the population of the planet does not like Pepsi? Of course not. The feet on the street speak for themselves and you have the feet on the street. What I am trying to do is promote a dialog on subjects that I think are worth promoting. I have been around long enough that I am not going to personally call out a person or a company in a defamatory way as I do not think that is fair regardless if I am operating under the guise of a Pseudonym or have a very public profile. Heck, I spoke to a few people that were at Kennedy last week and they said it sucked (ooops, I put out someone's opinion in a public forum). Was I there? No. So this is not my opinion but me passing on someone's else's. Is this wrong? Maybe if they have a personal axe to grind, then I see the potential issue here, but that is where I hope my better judgment comes into play given who they are and where they are coming from.
