Since we are off to a new year I have been revisiting some of the search engines that had been introduced in the last year. As I did so and I became re-acquainted with SearchMash some of you may remember it, it was launched late 2006.

I ran some searches and It appears to have changed quite a bit from last year. Some great features still remain though. In case you didn't know this is a google testbed for new features it runs very stable clean results without all the branding and sponsorship clutter.

The list of features is rather skimpy and there is no advanced help, so unless you tried any of the advance commands you wouldn't know it had them. Gone is the feature that allowed you to drag-and-drop web search results. I am glad they kept the infinite scrolling that allows you to add more pages to the same browser screen. It is a very fast search engine it certainly is worth including in your arsenal.
