There’s been some confusion surrounding the direction and topics found on the Peak Performance Blog as we’ve begun 2008.

This was our first full week of posts in the New Year and I thought I would quickly set the record straight on our goals and plans for our Web 2.0 community in 2008.

First and foremost, Peak Performance is a Third-Party Recruiting Blog. As this blog name suggests, our goal is to deliver peak performers in Sales while demonstrating peak performance in Recruiting.

Ideally, we want this space to speak to both the client and the candidate as well as our fellow Recruiters.

Here’s a glimpse of how we’ll try to attack each week…

MONDAY: CANDIDATE FOCUSED

  • It’s the beginning of another work week at a “dead end” job so we’ll provide you with the latest Career Opportunities from Paramount Recruiting Partners, LLC
  • We’ll also try to use this day to offer “Job Search Tips” and the “Do’s & Don’ts”
  • Posts may also include any news from over the weekend that we find interesting
  • Posts will be short and sweet because it’s the beginning of another busy week

TUESDAY: CLIENT-RECRUITER / INDUSTRY FOCUSED

  • Tips for Recruiters (i.e. Tools; Techniques; Resources; etc.)
  • Tips for Clients (i.e. College Recruiting; Retention; Interview Tips; Hiring Mistakes; etc.)
  • Industry Pet Peeves
  • Paramount Recruiting Partners, LLC Anecdotes
  • Poll of the Day / Join the Discussion will be encouraged

WEDNESDAY: CANDIDATE FOCUSED

  • Self-Assessment / Self-Improvement Discussions
  • “Joke of the Day” for “Hump Day Humor” series

THURSDAY: CLIENT-RECRUITER / INDUSTRY FOCUSED

  • We’ll cover things that we couldn’t get to on Tuesday
  • Most likely, Process Improvement discussions

FRIDAY: CANDIDATE FOCUSED

  • It’s “TGIF” so we’ll keep things light
  • We’ll highlight current Career Opportunities in case the week was tough on you for the last time
  • We’ll tell you what to look forward to over the weekend
  • We’ll also include any relevant Book Reviews (chapter-by-chapter analysis)

All in all, we hope to continue to give you what you want. If you have any suggestions please feel free to contact me directly at jradt@prpcareers.com to share you ideas.

Lastly, watch for some exciting news in the next few weeks about how PRP plans to increase our presence online and especially in the social networking arenas!

Thank you for your continued support by regularly visiting this site.
