Today was a fun day. My wife is in New York with one of my kids so I stayed home from work and looked after the other three.

To start with Dave Mendoza invited about 3000 people to join RecruitingBlogs.com. It’s way more than I have ever invited. As a result, the membership went from about 1050 to 1345 in less than 9 hours.

At one point, I was hitting the refresh button and there was a whole new list of people on that activity feed. I was talking with Dennis Smith and we were both in disbelief. I called the Recruiting Animal and said you need to promote your animal show now, and again tomorrow, and then again on Wednesday cause’ your show is great and all these new people will see it as they join. I was happy.

Now I know it won’t last and I hope a good number of the people who joined today contribute ideas and share information and very important, do some searches in the member area and leave some comments or send some messages to people of interest.

You're a good friend Dave, even before you referred RecruitingBlogs.com to your Network on LinkedIN. The first thing Dave said to me is that it's cool to put a face to your network. I said you should write about that.
