I haven't written anything in a while and thought I'd leave an update. Spent most of last week searching for the right candidate for a house job order. Very difficult search, but I think I found the right person. I'm waiting for feedback from the client.
I have not been pounding out the marketing calls like I had hoped I would be. Mainly due to other things that need to be done. We are getting ready to go to CTIA in Vegas in a couple of weeks. We want to do something special on the marketing side for this show, so we are working on that also. I really need to work on Time Management, when I get busy the day flies by. We have a new employee. We hired a marketing/research guy. So I've also been working with him trying to show him the ropes.
I've got a good collection of top notch candidates to market and a list of prospects that should keep me busy for a few days. It seems like many firms have plenty of job orders and are always looking for candidates. I've got quite a few really good candidates and no where to put them. I'm working with a candidate that made the biggest sale in his vertical industry in 2007. He will be the focus of my marketing efforts for the next few days.
Thats it for now. Marketing Calls and getting ready for CTIA. Oh and hoping the client likes the candidate I submitted yesterday.
