After seven months of adding continuous posts to the free Wordpress blog I finally made the decision to move the Wordpress blog to self hosting, thanks Media Temple (mt) to: DCTechRecruiter.com. I did this because I wanted to build out my personal branding a bit more. I wanted to use plugins which on the free site they are not allowed. This allows for greater levels of functionality changes to the overall page layout. As is anything, this is a work in progress.
I believe that out off the box recruiting ideas are paramount in order to keep up with this fast paced ever changing landscape. I do not claim to be a programmer nor a website wiz builder. I consider this fun and an exciting way to see what the developers I place go through on a daily basis. I may even take a class or two in order to hone my skills a bit and see where that may take me. If anyone has any suggestions; I would welcome them whole-heartedly. I believe that through constructive criticism we can begin to change. I will share my best practices and what I have learned through this on-going journey.
