Armed forces day is a day to celebrate, appreciate those who serve. You know the ones that served, and fought so we could be free. As our life’s get busier, things move quicker, and our choices increase, it is easy to forget those that allowed us to have these choices. On this Armed Forces day I would challenge you to reach out to a veteran or active duty person and simply say thank you and shake their hands. That simple act goes a long way for them. It is a simple gesture that tells them you know what they did and the sacrifices they made for this country. Sometimes the simplest acts of kindness and thanks are the best. So reach out, you will be rewarded with a big smile, a huge thank you and the satisfaction of knowing you let them know you know what they did and what they mean to this country.
