I am certainly tired of seeing women in the workplace sabotage each other when it comes to dealing with conflict.  We have done more damage to each other than our male counterparts ever could.  How?  By not supporting each other enough and learning to iron out disagreements the way that men do.  As a woman, I feel that each we can learn a thing-or-two from the opposite sex just as they can from us.  Click here to read on...

It does suck for women who still struggle with the ability to settle things in a professional, unemotional manner. For some reason women feel as if they have to be dramatic, stomp their feet and plot a launch of destruction against their female colleagues instead of addressing an issue, resolve it and move on. And in this light, men are simpler creatures, who can resolve and squash issues immediately instead of letting things linger to the point where there is an explosion 3 months later down the road.

Plus women need to understand that critiques and feedback are not attacks on their personal character, nor are their threats to their career.

All of the cat fighting is ridiculous and in a sense shows weakness, so if a woman ever wants to be taken seriously for a promotion, she has to minimize the drama, stop crying and learn to resolve issues in an unemotional manner.
