Omigosh.  Almost to the halfway point of this exercise.  We're at the stage of holding our breath for a bit while we see what starts bubbling up from a couple weeks of activity.  (I'm thinking quite a bit.  Just to say it.)

I have to admit that I had to slide through the weekend without lifting a mouse because of volunteering at our church festival Saturday and Sunday.  Today I had an inbox full of e-mails and I was actually pretty excited to find some new candidates to screen and send off.

Yada.  Yada.  Yada.  Sendouts to be scheduled tomorrow.

Guys.  This is grind week.  I would be lying if I was Mr. Cool and was ready to smooth across the dance floor in the Cupid Shuffle.  No.  I've spent the last couple weeks pulling together some pretty nice JO's and I'm ready for action.  I've screened hundreds of candidates and presented dozens.  I'm ready!  I can feel it!  It's action time and I want to see what my hand-picked candidates can yield.

My targets are four companies!  I've been doing-the-dance with the hiring managers and now we'll see if we can put this together for more face-to-face interviews.  Game time!

Today I also interviewed a potential recruiter for our office.  I thank the stars and more for the opportunity.  This really is a really amazing field that we work in.  There's so much fun and excitement and a we can change our direction so quickly.  Where else can you do that?

Come back tomorrow.  This chutes about to open!

Steve, I love your enthusiasm. :) You almost want to make me go back to "real" recruiting. (don't let Albright hear that! :) )
